Who We Are

About Us

Alec & Kenzie. We’ve been together for 15 years; married for 6. College sweethearts who met at the University of Minnesota - Duluth. Go Dogs. Both born and raised in Minnesota - Alec in the burbs of the Twin Cities and Kenzie in a southern small town. We both have a passion for all things outdoor, active, or adventurous. Seriously we have too many hobbies. But we try our best to combine them all into some epic trips, or even a casual Tuesday date night. Our two puppies, Valor and Liberty (who we call Bert and a myriad of other nicknames) accompany us almost always. Valor would hate the motorcycles. We originally started Airplane Mode Society in 2020. Yano the year everyone’s lives took a wild turn and suddenly we all had a lot of free time. Since then our lives got busy in all the ways and this project took a backseat. But, we always wanted to come back to this. Sharing our passions with anyone who may stumble here. APM is about reconnecting with each other and with yourself. Living in the moment and enjoying wherever you are in your journey at that exact moment in time. We want you to get off your phones and into your lives.
